About this series
Proclaim
Paul ends his letter to the believers in Colosse by instructing them to share the message of God’s grace with people outside the church (Colossians 4:2-6). This was not a new command. Just before Jesus ascended to the Father, He promised his followers that the Spirit would empower them to be witnesses “to the ends of the earth” (Acts 1:8). On the Day of Pentecost, the birthday of the church, Peter proclaimed the gospel to people “from every nation under heaven” (Acts 2:5). A couple thousand years later, we are still called to proclaim the good news of the gospel in our town and around the world. How are we individually and as a church accomplishing this? Join us for the “Proclaim!” series.
